Paintball gear

Even though many people do not want a lot of bulky paintball gear when they are playing, there are certain things that they absolutely need to wear in order to be safe. The three main pieces of safety gear they need to wear include:

• Goggles – Paintball goggles absolutely must be worn. In fact, paintball facilities will not let you play without goggles. The reason why these are so important is simple – without them your vision could be seriously damaged. One hit to the eye would be one hit too many. The goggles are useful for allowing you to overcome the dangers of paintball.

• Long shirts and long pants – Even though you can play paintball in shorts and T-shirts, if your bare skin gets hit by a paintball, you will definitely wish that you had some more clothing covering yourself.

• Footwear – Some footwear is better than others for paintball players. While some think that steel-toed boots are best for them, there are others who seem to think that cleats are the best to wear during paintball. There are advantages to both, but whichever kind of footwear you purchase, it is important that you find some that will allow you to grab hold of the turf you are running on without slipping – especially in slippery conditions.
