Paintball markers
Paintball markers, aka paintball guns, are sophisticated
devices that are constantly being updated to meet the demands of those
who are consistent players of paintball.
Because simply throwing a paintball is not really very effective, paintball
markers are the main piece of equipment needed to play paintball. Manufacturers
use gas such as carbon dioxide or even compressed air to propel paintballs
from the markers.
Although some are unfamiliar with the term “paintball markers”
it is a fact that most within the paintball community use this term
and not “gun” to describe the shooters in order to avoid
the perception that paintball is a violent game.
Having said that, paintball certainly is not a walk in the park either
– especially considering the fact that some paintball markers
can even shoot a paintball at speeds upward of 200 mph. Because paintballs
usually explode on impact, there is minimal damage that is done to the
person who gets shot.
Most paintball markers consist of four parts. These parts are the body,
hopper, air tank and barrel. Each of these parts experience frequent
upgrades that help to make them more and more effective pieces of paintball
markers each time a new model is released.
