Paintball masks

Paintball masks are absolutely vital in order to be able to play a safe game of paintball. Likewise, the goggles are the most important parts of the mask.

Because the goggles are so important, it is imperative that you understand how to best clean your goggles if they get splattered with paint.

Although you can use chemicals to clean parts of paintball masks, you should never use chemicals to clean any part of the goggles. If chemicals are used, the chemicals potentially could slowly begin to eat away at the thermonuclear coating on some goggles. As time passes by, these small cracks can alter the ability of a lens to stay put together if it is struck by a speeding paintball.

Paintball masks and goggles can be easily cleaned with some warm water and a little elbow grease. It is a good idea to try to clean the paintball masks as soon as possible in order to avoid letting the paint dry. Once the paint dries, it becomes much harder to clean the paintball masks and goggles.
Players should rinse off their paintball goggles as soon as they can after a game is over. The longer the paint stays on the goggles, the harder it is to take the paint off.
It is often easier to clean the paintball masks and goggles if you remove the goggles from the mask. This can allow you to wash out any paint that is trapped in the crevices between the mask and the goggles.
If you really want to make the goggles effective, wipe them down with a micro-fiber cloth before they are re-inserted in the paintball masks. Doing this will allow you to clean the lenses of the goggles the same way you would clean your glasses; this results in improved vision.
